Kavi Ajatshatru graces the Gyan Manch to share his profound thoughts on the importance of Hindi. He begins by highlighting the nurturing embrace of languages and mothers:
He reflects on the current state of Hindi, expressing concern:
Kavi Ajatshatru urges us to understand the present situation of Hindi. He stresses the need to explain to the new generation, especially those attending convent schools, the significance of Devanagari—the script that breathes life into Hindi. He says:
He expresses hope and confidence in Hindi's unifying power. He poetically states:
Kavi Ajatshatru highlights the symbolic importance of adorning Mother Hindi with a 'bindi,' signifying honor and respect. He mentions that poetry in Hindi has its unique charm. Hindi poetry has made a significant contribution to the advancement of the Hindi language. In his words:
In this context, he presents four lines:
He says that for Indians, our love for our mother tongue Hindi is our greatest pride. He adds:
For his loved ones, he presents a song:
Describing the myriad forms of Hindi and its spread across different regions, Kavi Ajatshatru says:
He observes that in today's era, the canvas of Hindi extends far beyond borders. No matter where one travels, Hindi-speaking people and expatriate Indians are found, instilling immense pride in us—especially remembered on Hindi Diwas. He proclaims this as a message for all global nations:
However, he remarks that just as only a mother understands the pain when her child goes astray, Mother Hindi too bears her own sorrows, which he articulates through his verses:
He then conveys the profound final message that Mother Hindi wishes to impart:
In conclusion, he emphasizes that the linguistic marvels of Mother Hindi will manifest only when the younger generation immerses themselves in Hindi literature, turning its pages and truly feeling its essence. On Hindi Diwas, he appeals to everyone to continue reading and cherishing all the poets and writers who love Hindi.
